Surya Namaskar - Introduction

SUN GOD

In general, there are two different methods of calculating the Calender Zones. One on the basis of Surya and the other on the basis of Chandra. Which is the right method is not the matter. Who believes in what system, follows the same. This Application is going to be dealing in the Calender System Currently followed in the Indian Sub Continent which is of SOLAR (SUN). Why so? because Sun is suppose to be the Father of the planet array in each family. That is why its called the a Solar Family. Sun in general has the tendency to destroy the unwanted. Where the sun rays are there, we cannot see any Fungal Elements. These generally develop in the darker area only. Be it any thing, this statement is a valid one. As the Sun Rays does every good in the out side, it does more good in the human anatomy too. Every other planet takes the rays and glow. Moon is a classic example for that. Which side the Sun light is there, that side Moon glows. The other side is dark. Similarly in a human body, who understands this concept and worship Sun will have a great life and glitter "Thejas". With out wasting much time lets get in to the subject.

Surya Namaskar - Body a Temple Zone

Temple and Human

Normaly human body is considered to the place of GOD. This is the place where the Soul rest in, when it visits the earth. According to the beleif, the purpose of human creation is to realise and get back to the home which is the Abode.
There are many Saints and Siddhas who have proved this in the past and proving currently in India. All of them with out performing this noble art of SUN GOD worshiping (Surya Namaskar)have never completed their Task. In some method or other Both Moon and SUN is being worshipped here with out any second thought.
In what way the picture shown above is meaning ful for this. It's very simple. Any big Temple constructed according to the "AGAMA"   (The Artitectural Engineering for Temple Construction) symbalises how body worshipping is equal to Temple worshipping and how one can purify his body so as to attain the immortality. In other words Surya Namaskara is equal to Temple Worshiping and the Body is the place of GOD.

According to the Hindu Mythology, 'Sun' is the son of MAA Athithi. She is another form of Aadhi. Sun is the Root cause and Head of All 'Vedhas'and treated as a 'DEVA' - 'Surya Dhevo Bhava'. Fire and Heat is the combination his formation.
The word 'SURYA' means "Energy of the Almighty". Sun has two wives. They are 'Sanchana' and 'Chaayaa'
.
Sanchana was not able to withstand the 'Thejas' the energy full exposure and posed her in another form and left her with Sun God. Then Sun made that form in to seven horses and retained in his Holy Chariot. Sun and Sanchana had three issues. They are MANU, YAMA & YAMUNA.

Sun parade in a seven horsed Chariot and sitting on a Lotus. His Charioteer is 'Sri Arna'. Sri Arna is elder to 'Sri Garuda'. Sri Arna is in charge of ' Ushath kala' -  'Pre Dawn'. a. Posture
b. Mantra
c. Breath.
These are the key factors which does the magic.

Surya Namaskar - Why SUN?

Why one should perform Surya Namasakar?
Because he is our True father? In the sence from him only all the other planets took off in our solar system.Similarly Moon gives a lovable ray and is treated as our Mother. It is a must for the mankind to bow these parents as they are the root cause for all the living beings in the Earth. These statements will look ocward but, the science world one day will agree to this. With out Worshipping Sun one cannot get the Power. With out worshipping the moon one cannot get intellect "Gyana". In other words Sun is the Health and Moon is the Mind. Unless these two are sound, human cannot live peacfully and happily. Let us see  what good and benefit Surya Namaskar does to our body in the coming slides.
